On this full day trip you will enjoy adventure and learn about the animals of Costa Rica while floating down the beautiful Corobicí River. This gentle float trip is safe for young and old alike while taking in the sights of birds, monkeys and other wildlife that live along the river's edge. The river is bordered by a tropical dry forest where you will se towering trees.

You will also visit Los Pumas Rescue Center where you can see all varieties of cats that are located in Costa Rica as well as many species of birds and white face monkeys.

The Corobicí River is a wide river that flows from the Arenal Lake, at the base of the active Arenal Volcano, and continues westward into the Pacific lowlands to the ocean. This is an opportunity for birdwatchers as it passes near the Palo Verde National Park, home to many different species of birds.

Some paddling is necessary but most of the float will give you time for observing wildlife along the shore; there are sections where the river gradually reaches the mangrove forests near the coast where sometimes, the boat-billed heron is found, despite being a nocturnal bird.

This tour is highly recommended for families or beginners that are more interested on nature.
