REAL TOWN TOUR
This, very interactive tour, exposes you to the "Real Costa Rica, the spirit and heart". Visit "barrio Luján" a neighborhood in San José and be amazed by the history behind this community and it's name. Filled with cultural information, you will meet the different service providers an be able to hear their stories first hand and interact with them.
Starting at the town square where we will tell you the story. You will be taken to the school, where you will visit a classroom and be able to interact with the children; next visit a small cookie factory, where you can sample these famous cookies of our country, called "Galletas Julieta". Then, get to know and share with several local service providers, which can include the "pulpería" (small general store), the tire repair shop where you can challenge the local checkers champion, the fruit stand where you will see great variety of our fruit and be able to taste some samples, the bakery, and a "soda" (small restaurant). We finish where we started and have a great surprise. |
